Biting the Bullet

For those of you young whipper snappers that haven't had the pleasure of gaining 30 - 40 lbs. with a bouncing baby... you aren't familiar with what happens after you have the baby in your arms.

You still have the 30 - 40 lbs. on your stomach.

Oh, and it isn't cute fat either. It isn't round and hard like before. Its squishy and disgusting.

So, I have officially bitten the bullet and joined Weight Watchers. I have lost 5 lbs. and am aiming to lose another 15, but I'd settle for 10. So send good vibes this way! Isabel deserves to have pictures with her mother that don't require a wide-angle lens. She needs the cute double chin, not me!

So, I can't figure out how to flip this one - BUT here is Isabel talking and singing (obviously will be a soprano). And, yes, she looks like a little redneck, but she likes to run around naked like her mom. You can hear her Meme talking in the background on this one.

Feeling better

Isabel is feeling better. After having a tag team effort by Gigi and Meme, I think we've got Isabel under control - although I sent her to nursery with a bag full of medicine.

Here is our new routine.
Antibiotic for the new ear infection - twice a day.
Anti-fungal cream for yeast infection on bum- every diaper
Breathing treatment for wheezing - three times a day

Not to mention she is eating like crazy! She loves some carrots, applesauce and bananas. We are trying peas this coming week. She can't wait... Oh, the simple things in life.

I had an impromptu photo session with her yesterday. I couldn't help but take pics of that little bum bum.
